An election year always adds a little more excitement to the fall season. Mark your calendar for the Leadership UA Candidates' Night on Thursday, October 19 at the Municipal Services Center. You will get a chance to meet the candidates during the open house from 6-7 p.m., followed by a question and answer session moderated by Kurt Ludlow of ABC6/Fox28. This is a great way to be informed on who is running for four seats on City Council and two seats on the School Board.

National Preparedness Month was created in response to the events of September 11, 2001 and is held in September each year to remind us that disasters can occur anywhere and without warning.
