New EPA safety rules go into effect April 22, 2010 for disturbance of lead paint in homes, schools, and child-occupied facilities.
Welcome to the Development Department
The Development Department coordinates the many aspects involved in the City's growth and development. Staff provides assistance to residents, developers and contractors who wish to build or remodel structures within the City. The department guides its customers through the necessary zoning, permitting and inspection processes that have been put in place to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the community as well as maintain state-regulated health and safety standards. The Development Department is comprised of three operating divisions as described below:
