City Manager's Office


The City Manager's Office provides the overall executive leadership for the City, and policy guidance to the Mayor and Council. The City Manager is responsible for the overall management of the City's departments, the support services necessary to maintain them, and the presentation of the City's budget.

The Office is comprised of the City Manager, Community Affairs Director, Executive Secretary, and Community Affairs Coordinator.

Community Affairs Director
The role of Community Affairs is to communicate all facets of Upper Arlington's local government with its key publics - namely residents, local businesses, City employees and community leaders - using various methods that include local news articles, various print materials, website and social media, etc. The director provides public relations and marketing advice and support to all City departments, and assists with the strategic planning and public relations efforts on various special projects throughout the year. Additionally, the director serves as the primary liaison with local media representatives.
