All Best Buy Retail Centers 
Best Buy offers an electronics and appliances Trade-In and Recycling program to help reduce e-waste. This program is available at each retail location. The program has also been extended with a home haul service for large appliances and TV's.

Goodwill Columbus
Goodwill will accept your electronics donations at any retail store or Attended Donation Center. 
Have an old desktop or laptop computer, printer or fax machine sitting in the basement collecting dust? What about that old stereo equipment sitting in your garage?  A DVD player, PDA, or iPod that’s seen better days?  What about an old microwave or vacuum cleaner? If it has a cord, we’ll take it!

Goodwill Columbus will gladly take these and many more items off your hands. What we cannot sell in our retail stores, we recycle. Your donated computers and electronics will go a long way in helping many individuals enter the workforce. Recyclable electronics donated to Goodwill are processed by individuals with disabilities and other barriers. The parts are recycled and the proceeds are used to fund programs that benefit this population.

A service that helps people dispose of their electronic equipment properly and as conveniently as possible. This service is provided at little to no cost for any consumer looking to dispose of electronic equipment. They offer many recycling drop-off locations throughout Franklin County and have a complete list on their website.

Accepts all electronics including computers, monitors, televisions, microwaves, printers, phones, copiers, keyboards, mice, cables, wiring and appliances. The only charge is for televisions and computer monitors, everything else can be dropped off for free.

Verizon Device Trade-In Program
The Device Trade-in Program lets you trade in your old device and receive a credit on your Verizon Wireless account or a Verizon Wireless Gift Card for the appraised value of the old device. Or you can choose to donate your old device to HopeLine, a domestic violence advocacy and prevention organization

Community project that relies on the support of local organizations and individuals to "turn empty houses into homes" by distributing gently-used furniture from residents, hotels, colleges and furniture stores to families in need. Household Hazardous Waste

Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off (SWACO)

SWACO has a permanent drop-off location for the disposal of household hazardous wastes. Hours may vary, so please check SWACO's website for the latest information. SWACO also offers annual Household Hazardous Waste collection dates for Franklin County communities. Items accepted include flammables, reactives, corrosives, toxics and fats/oils.
