Parks & Recreation Advisory Board

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is comprised of seven members who meet to review and make recommendations to City Council on the City's parks, recreational programs and facilities in the community. The Board meets the second Wednesday of even numbered months at 6:30 pm at the Municipal Services Center. Each member serves a four-year term. The President of City Council appoints members to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Council Members confirm.

Residents may attend meetings and speak on the agenda items. The agenda and packet is available on the City's website under Departments/Boards and Commissions. Board members can be reached via email at [email protected]. Residents may also contact the Department Director regarding suggestions for future Board agenda items or discuss any suggestions, concerns or ideas regarding the parks and recreation programs, facilities or services.
