City Clerk's Office Overview

The City Clerk's Office serves as the legislative arm by providing administrative support to City Council. Staff members schedule and coordinate items appearing on the Council agenda and attend all Council meetings. They also prepare ordinances, minutes, and reports that accurately reflect policy recommendations and decisions of City Council.

The City Clerk's Office is also responsible for the management of all City records. This includes archiving, scanning, and on-site and off-site storage. Public records requests are handled through this office.

The City Clerk's Office publishes listings of scheduled meetings pursuant to Sunshine Law requirements. This office also serves as a liaison between residents and Members of City Council.
