New/Important Items City Offices Closed for Thanksgiving Day - City Offices will be closed Thursday, November 27, in observance of Thanksgiving Day. Upper Arlington households that normally have refuse collection on Thursdays will receive service on Friday. Yard waste will not be collected. Service will resume its normal schedule the following week. Free Leaf Collection Services - The City is providing leaf collection services to residents free-of-charge through Friday, December 5, weather permitting. 2009-2010 Budget Hearings - Check here to view the proposed 2009-2010 Budget document, and to email any questions or comments you may have to the City. Historic Preservation Task Force Update - On October 20, the Board of Zoning and Planning determined the proposed legislation is ready for City Council review and action. As a continuation of legislation considered by Council from the close of 2007, the proposed legislation, with amendments emerging from the 2008 review process, will receive its third Reading on Monday, November 24. Upper Arlington Winter Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony - Join the City of Upper Arlington on Friday, December 5 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Mallway Park on Arlington Avenue for a festive evening to celebrate the start of the holiday season.
