Police DivisionCITY OF UPPER ARLINGTON OFFERS YOU A CAREER AS A POLICE OFFICER Patrols assigned areas to enforce law and order, and carry out special assignments to protect life and property. QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be high school graduates and able to pass a Civil Service written examination, background investigation, physical and drug screen. AGE RESTRICTION: Must have reached 21st birthday by day of appointment (may take exam if 19 or over). SALARY RANGE: Starting $45,136.00, maximum $71,177.60 after 3 years. WRITTEN COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION to be given February 7, 2009 with location and time assigned at time of application.
