Police DivisionMuch credit goes to the Staff of the Police Division for Upper Arlington’s continued status as one of Central Ohio’s safest communities. The Patrol Section provides 24-hour services to the community. These services include rapid response to all emergency calls, routine response to general calls for service, special event management, routine district patrols, and traffic accident investigation.Each year the Police Division offers safety programs such as Safety Town and the Women’s Self Defense Class, as well as various community-building programs such as the D.A.R.E (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program. The Police Division also provides a number of other valuable services, including Animal Control, Bike Patrol, and the award winning Pumpkin Patrol program during Halloween.
